

Open the DevTools and switch to the inspect tab, select the desired element and in the right-panel, click on the "Edit with Notepad++" panel. To send an HTML element to the editor, you can also use the DevTools. If you are not seeing App button, press Control + Shift + B in Windows and Command + Shift + B in Mac to open bookmarks bar to find the App button. Open Google Chrome browser and click on the App button in bookmarks bar. To edit a content editable element, use the right-click context menu item Installing Link-Preview Chrome Extension. Now place your mouse over the HTML element that you need to interact with. To send an HTML element to the editor, click on the browser action button once. It might not display all of the bells and whistles on first look, but Notepad++ certainly offers much more than Windows native Notepad.
